At the Annual General Meeting on 24th November 2011, the BASEM Executive proposed a 3% increase in membership subscription rates, with the exception of the Undergraduate Medical Student online only membership, which will remain the same. The increase was agreed and accepted by the meeting.

Such an increase in subscription rates has not taken place for the last 3 years, however, due to increased operating costs and production costs of the British Journal of Sports and Exercise Medicine, with regret, it was deemed appropriate to facilitate this.

Individuals who pay their annual membership fee by direct debit will continue to receive a 3% discount as this method of payment involves less administrative time and cost once set up.

The membership subscription rates for 2012 can be found at http://www.basem.co.uk/membership-benefitrs.shtml
