Joining by Direct Debit - By completing the membership form below and the Direct Debit Mandate, you can join BASEM in January 2010 and reduce your membership fee by 3.5%.
Joining online - You will be entering all your details and selecting two payment methods, credit card or sending the payment in the post.
Hand write application form and send by post - you can choose to pay by cheque and complete your application form by hand - returning both the BASEM Central Office at Suite 1C, Hutton Business Centre, Bentley Road, Bentley, Doncaster, DN5 9QP.

All membership subscription payments run from the time of joining to 31 December of that year, and all renewals are due from 1st January each year, with the exception of Student Fee (undergraduate) and Dr Foundation Year Fee – F1/F2, which run from the date of joining for one year.
Retired members as for Associate less £29.00
Family members (2 members, 1 copy BJSM) (a) Full Member plus £56.00 (if 1 or both are Drs of medicine), (b) Associate Member plus £56.00 (if neither are Drs of medicine).
Corporate membership (1 copy BJSM) – as for Full members.
Student membership (undergraduate only) £28 for one year with online access to BJSM only.
Dr Foundation Year Fee – F1/F2 £50 for one year with online access to BJSM only.
Membership in December will be for one month only as all subscriptions are due 1st January each year.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
A proportion of the Membership fee will be refunded (in complete months remaining on the subscription year) if cancellation is notified in writing to the BASEM Central Office within 1 month of the renewal date (1st Jan). Outside this period, refunds are granted at the sole discretion of the BASEM Executive.
Only doctors holding a medical degree are eligible to join as full members with voting rights. All other allied professionals eg physiotherapists, physiologists, osteopaths, chiropractors, podiatrists, sports therapists, nurses, dentists, vets etc are entitled to join as associate members (all the benefits of membership but without voting rights).
Existing members of BASEM may continue to hold full membership status of the Association unless they opt to become associate members (non-medical practitioners only).
Students of Medicine (Undergraduates) can apply for the limited number online student membership fee, but must supply a supporting letter from their college tutor or dean from the university/school of medicine at which they are studying.
