Basem offers a range of courses which provide a basic level of sports medicine education to help practitioners develop their interest in Sports Medicine and to assist those sitting the diploma examination.
In addition BASEM is committed to providing cutting edge education to more experienced practitioners through our annual Congress and Spring Meeting as well as occasional one day workshops.
BASEM’s education programme is managed by the Education Management Group which meets 3 times per year and constitutes:

Annual courses include the following:
BASEM Education – Foundation Course A 4 day multidisciplinary residential introductory course in General sports and exercise medicine.
BASEM Education – Clinical Skills Course A 4 day multidisciplinary residential course with an emphasis on examination techniques and the clinical application of sports medicine. The course will focus on the Head, Neck and Upper Limb and the Spine, Pelvis and Lower Limb and is the next level up from the BASEM Foundation course.
BASEM Education- BASEM Spring Meeting The BASEM Spring Meeting provides cutting edge education.
