The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) provides national guidance and advice to improve health and social care.
From April 2015 NICE will no longer produce Evidence Updates. However, information on important new evidence in relation to NICE guidelines will still be available through NICE surveillance reports.
Surveillance reports will contain a summary of new evidence related to the guideline; a more in depth commentary on a selection of this evidence and provide a decision on whether the relevant guideline should be updated in light of the new evidence.
